Bob looks at Sundays #Cheltenhamraces Part 1

Well the report card for Baz and myself from yesterday would read “Does lots of work but is losing out in the final test!” Maybe we over analyse.

1:50 November Novices Chase

Favourites are more likely to win on soft ground according to the historical analysis. Winners must also have won last time out and won on soft going before.

Although P Nicholls has a steely grip on this race I believe looking at the form of AL DANCER compared to Getaway Trump that he will perform better on this surface.

Verdict: AL DANCER for the win

2:25 Cheltenham Chase (Shloer)

SO again we are looking for a similar horse to the first race. The 4 contenders are all very similar but the one with the best form on Soft/Heavy ground is Defi Du Seuil who is the favourite and favourites are more likely to win on soft ground.

Verdict: DEFI DU SEUIL to Win
